About The Author
This is me....
I have
about
11 years experience in urban planning (in both public and private
sector), site acquisition, and military planning . I Have a masters
degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas A&M, I am
certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and I
am also a licensed mortgage broker in the state of Florida.
As the son of a general contractor, I grew up helping my father at
construction jobs wherein I witnessed many triumphs and catastrophes in
the building industry. The building business is usually "boom-bust" so
growing up I relocated many times to be where my father's work was. I
lived in many different kinds of urban environments and a whole strata
of neighborhoods and areas (from NY city to rural Texas). I currently
live in Florida.
Why are you doing this?
I went into Urban Planning because I wanted to help people and make the
world a better place. I have found that being a practicing urban
planner only gives me the ability to do things on a scale which really
doesn't help the average individual. I feel that I can help people by
providing them insights into my war stories. When I purchased my first
home from company "X" it also provided inspiration for this web site.
In order to avoid being sued by this national developer, I will simply
refer to them as company "X". If you do business with company "X", I
sincerely hope that you have read my book first.
