Still working these links. Seems like every time I turn around
somebody is trying to sell me something that isn't healthy or will cost
me dearly in the long run. But isn't this what crapping on our
environment is all about : Play now, Pay later. Usually its the
hardworking middle class guy that pays the most in the end.
There are lots of ways out there for everybody to profit and
prosper. I am as capitalistic as the next guy, but lets not take
a big crap on our future. This sub prime mortgage mess is a
perfect example. There's a lot about this subject that just isn't
discussed on radio and TV. For example, all of those
mortgage brokers who made a mint off of these variable interest loans
with huge pre-payment penalties. I have a message for these
brokers (and all the banks that paid a premium
price for brokered loans hoping people would fall flat on their faces):
this is your mess, use some of your ill gotten gains and clean it up.
